We are excited for another opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ at bH4t weekend.

bH4t started in 2012 with a little 6th graders request to serve the elderly in our church who had supported our small youth group whole-heartedly.

From there the students were each assigned an elderly person of the church to minister to through daily prayer, at least 2 calls a month, 1 card mailed and 1 visit if possible.  They of course had a difficult time making the visits, so we decided to start a service weekend where we minister to our elderly with visits, yard cleaning and chores; thus, bH4t weekend was born.

The students decided on bH4t—be HIM for them, intentionally cryptic so that we would get questions based on our mission name.  This means being the hands and feet of Christ.

1 John 3:18 is the Biblical foundation for our youth,  “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech alone but with actions and in truth”.
